"Check to see if there is alcohol in the baby wipes you're using. That can sting. As for the timing of the allergy showing up, grass pollen has its own season, which is over by late summer. So if it is grass, that's why it didn't show…"

Help! Allergies from grass and pollen

Hi all,My Meatball has been suffering from allergies from grass and pollen for the past 2 months. I've first noticed this because she was itching her back paws frequently and they looked red and inflamed. We've been to the Vet at least 3 times for allergy shots, allergy drugs, as well as antibiotics and they really help. I also know it's allergies from grass/pollen because the Vet scraped her paw to test for mites but came back negative. And every morning when she comes back from wet grass…See More

Elizabeth Throneberry replied to Mila & Meatball's discussion When is a good time to switch to adult food?
"No try should be on regular adult dog food not small breed and you could get away with large breed. Small breed dog food has to much protien for corgis and can make them majorly over weight. Stay away from small breed dog food corgis are considered…"

Jane replied to Mila & Meatball's discussion When is a good time to switch to adult food?
"They should be on large breed puppy formula if any (NOT small breed), and then a regular adult food or ALS. The large breed puppy formulas generally have lower protein which helps them grow slower; when puppies grow too fast you can end up with…"

"As others have said I would have switched her a long time ago. Her weight is fine, she will probably still fill out more and add a few pounds as she matures."

Meatball, we would love to meat, I mean Meet, you and Lucy. We live in Laguna Hills. Check out our page. (click on my picture) There are lots of great groups on Mycorgi. Lucy would like honorary corgis, and there is a group for southern CA and another for OC corgies. there is a group for just about anything you can imagine. I hope your human likes taking pictures (there is a photography group) because for sure you want your picture in the awkward little sleepers group. From your friend Snickers
