- Have had Corgis, pems and cards for over 20 years. 3 have been rescues. Currently have one female cardi, 14 years old, Butter. An 11 year old male pem, Henry and a 2 year old corgi mix, Dylan. To me they are they are the best dogs in the world.

- Butter was a rescue that came to me through a breeder in Maryland at two years old. She has been super healthy and weight appropriate her whole life; even after emergency surgery for a collapsed larynx (Jan, 2012). She is definitely slowing down but I dont see any reason she wont be with us for years to come. She just doesnt enjoy long outtings or car rides like she used to and is mostly content to lounge around the house with her people.
