Decided to try Rhys on Zylkene as he is a very stressed boy & wondered if it might help to calm him - not seeing many signs yet & wondered if anyone else has tried it?
Have adored corgis since I was a little girl, many moons ago, but took some time to be able to have one of my own & now I have two :)
Welsh Corgi Breeder?
No
About My Corgi(s):
Have been a Cardigan Corgi owner for over 20 years, Rhys & Moli are our third & fourth corgis, both 'rescues', Rhys has some behavoural issues, is very nervous & fearful - Moli is full of confidence and we hope will help him feel more secure. Rhys is just about to have his 5th birthday, Moli is 2 - they share a grandfather hence the similarity in colouring, they are both a lovely rich light brindle.
The first time I have seen anyone else who has a "Rhys". We looked for a Welsh name for our dog and came up with Rhys. We got him from a breeder but our other two are rescues. They already had names when we got them. Your dogs are beautiful!

I agree, I think males tend to be more than some people can handle though our breeder said he had only ever had one male puppy returned to him because he was too dominent. I would like to have a girl as well. I'd be interested to see how different she would act than Finnigan. I relaly like the blues, black and whites and red brindles. I don't know how we'd choose a second one!
I'm surprised you were able to find Cardigans in rescue and good looking ones at that. I guess they are just not common around here. I checked Corgi rescue often and they never had a Cardi. We ended up getting Finnigan from a breeder and he's such a good boy. Since we raised him from a puppy at least we know whatever issues he ends up with are our fault. :)
You have two very beautiful corgis! I love the shape of cardi's, and the colors are definitely more rich and interesting! I love the photo of them on that red couch. It really caught my eye! Thanks for sharing your photos!!
