About My Corgi(s):: Maddie is my second dog, but my first corgi. She turned three on October 26, 2009 (which is also my birthday). She loves to chew on everything - even me - be chased around the house, and run in the backyard with the pups next door. Maddie's also a pretty good escape artist - she loves to sneek outside when people are either entering or exiting the house and run around the neighborhood whenever she can find the opportunity.

For Halloween this year I wanted to improve on Maddie's costume from last year. Last year she was a witch, and she was fine with her cape but wasn't too happy with her witch-mask. Maddie's Halloween Costume

Last year Maddie dressed up as the devil, so this year I decided to go with something a little more girly - a witch! She didn't really like her head mask - which was a witch face with purple "hair" and a witch hat with a star on top - so it only stayed on for a bit. Maddie's first swim :)

My family, Maddie, and I went boating on Lake Michigan and Bear Lake yesterday and Maddie got to swim for the first time. We had tried to get her to swim last summer, but she had sunk like a little stone - she didn't even attemt to paddle! Yesterday, however, was different. It turns out Maddie's a good little swimmer!
