Have had Corgis for the past 23? years. Showed in confirmation for a few years, did agility for a few years (my corgi won her division in the very first AKC agility trial!) and currently compete in Flyball.
I have one red Corgi named Jumpin' Jack Flash who competes in Flyball and is one of the fastest Corgis in NAFA Flyball. He is a rescue, we are his 3rd home. He was far too dominent & active for his first 2 homes. Active is perfect for flyball, but the dominent side gave us all kinds of grief! But after LOTS of training he is now a valuable member of our household!

Tammey and I are going to be carefull to not let Bear read this but, We wanted to get him into Fly ball back when (because he is just a ball junkie) but, we think he might be a bit old for it now. He is the most trainable dog we have ever seen but being on the road so much of the time we have never even found a fly ball track. If we ever find a place to try it out we would love to let him run through it but not compete. When is the Houston show? We have a couple of jobs schedualed down there soon.
Glad to be of help. This is a behavior that lots of trainers misinterpret, but the real pros wouldn't fault Tig. How would you like it if a stranger got into your face?
Hi Susan,
Thanks for your comment. It is very helpful. I was hoping that TIG wasn't reverting back to his old ways. :) It is so weird because he lets his his best corgi girlfriend Emily bodyslam him and he doesn't even react! :)
As shameful as it is, the photo posted is the only one (on our computer) we seem to have of Jack in action. The problem is that in order to get a decent action shot it takes a special camera with high speed capacity. Also, flash photography isn't allowed because it distracts the dogs. I photo-shopped this one to reduce the graininess. I will definitely add an action shot if I get one! I'll have to look, I thought I had a hard copy of a couple of others, but Vista doesn't recognize my scanner so can't post those until I replace the scanner.
Thank you for the welcome! Jack has been a lot of fun to run Flyball with, he actually looks to the other lane to see if he needs to run a little faster to beat that dog, and has actually out run Border Collies! Really amazes the line judges who call him a freak of nature because he doesn't know that he isn't supposed to be able run that fast! His box turn needs some work, though. He wastes too much time trash talking at the other dog while he is turning. And at the end of a weekend of racing he is STILL full of energy!
