My little girl came home with tons of fleas on her, a bloated stomach, and several different types of worms-one of them being tapeworm. She also has heartworms. Luckily I got her at six weeks old but her brothers and sisters are still waiting to be picked up by their owners. I hope someone that is buying from them sees this post. Here is the ebay ad they put up for the puppies.…

I hope you and Karma are feeling better. Bring home a new puppy is suppose to be great. But having to deal with so many issues all at once is so difficult. We knew Tenby was under weight, afraid of his shadow and filthy. But as days passed we realized this was not going to be easy. But now we have the most loving sweetheart and every tear we cried and hair pulling (ours) was worth it.
As I said earlier Karma is so young she was probably not permanently damaged by her thoughtless breeder. After experiencing Tenby's breeder and hearing other stories like yours Roger and I have decided there is that special place in hell for breeders like this.
Is Karma doing better after going to the vet? I sure hope so. My breeder said that she shouldn't have heart worms unless her mother had them and the pups got them from her. That isn't likely unless she was severely ill but who knows?
Welcome Taylor and Karma!
Taylor, I am so sorry to hear how sick your little girl is. What did your bet recommend. I am from the BHM area are there are at least 2 reputable breeders here and the one I know personally even has a few pups. I could recommend a natural remedy that you can use to help with the worms as I doubt that she can be treated for heart worms yet. The product that I used is NOW brand Fresh Green Black Walnut Wormwood Complex". I ordered it from iHerb.com. Again, I am so sorry. My breeder had never heard of them. Lois
Welcome! Beautiful pictures.
