About Me:
Married, 38, have had Corgi's all my life - love their attitude!!
About My Corgi(s):
I have one Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Jodi. Jodi was my father's dog for about 3 1/2 years until he (my father) needed to move ito a retirement home at which time Jodi went to live with my brother and his family in Kingston, Ontario including Sasha, their Collie. After about two years they felt that Jodi was starting to get a little too aggressive with Sasha and asked us to take her.
I've had Corgi's my whole life (all 38 years) with the exception of the past five. (Just no room for any pets) Now, life is back to normal - have a Corgi and you'll be happy forever. Even my usband who was decididly anti-Corgi has now been won over and hasd even talked about getting Jodi an older, neutered play mate.

Yeah, Ein's a little sausage-he could actually lose a few. lol! But Daisy's is fine to me-still still a growing girl too. They're on a good diet but I'm not about to starve them to death. You know what I mean. Anyway, I do know it's important for their health. Ein actually started getting hip problems and the extra weight doesn't help so wish me luck on getting him in better shape! :)

Sorry about the weight problem. But I'm so glad to hear you're trying hard to get her healthy. Our vet gives us a hard time about our dogs weight even though they're in the right weight range-I think it's because they're shaped like little bricks and the vet keeps showing me this chart of dogs with a very defined waist telling me that's what they need to look like-Frustrating.

Welcome! Hang in there with Jodi. Just an update, as of this week Moira (our overweight corgi) is now down to 29 pounds from 47 pounds in the span of 8-months. ;-) It can be done but it will take time on both the weight issue and the dog aggression.

Welcome Susan! Fellow canadian I assume? I heard people keep saying that corgis from up north have lush fur and always tend to win in dog shows :)
