I've been thinking about some of my favorite things about Pixel - the things he does that I love so much. These include: 1) Corgi laps - Pixel loves to run and sometimes in the evening will start running around the living room in wide circles as fast as he can. He just goes and goes. Although I agree that corgi's are smart dogs (maybe it's the herding thing) and well able to problem solve, it turns out that it's not the corgi in the family that's the smart one, but Dax, the Newfoundland. Dax and Pixel have loved each other from the moment they met. Pixel was so tiny and Dax so big, but she was so gentle and loving, and I never had a moment's fear that she would harm him.



Pixel loves to play with Dax and when he was a puppy he would jump on her, chew on her big droopy lips, pull the hair out of her tail, and be an all around nuisance. Our corgi, Pixel, has been raised by our older (and extremely tolerant) newfoundland girl, Dax. Dax was a saint while raising Pixel and never once reprimanded him, no matter what he did or how much he tortured her.
