I am very excited to share with my friends and family that I am once again blessed with being chosen to go to Africa on mission with my church Carson Valley Christian. This will be my second trip to Nairobi, Kenya to help our sister church and work in the slum areas surrounding Nairobi.

The residents here love Brewster. Everyday he does my rounds in the morning with me, going nursing station to station and collecting my daily info. The residents all reach for him. It is sweet to see him stop at a wheelchair and sit so they can pet his cute little head. One lady, because of her dementia, calls out. She yells help me and when I take Brewster to the hall where she is and he sits next to her, she smiles and he sits while she pets him. It is amazing the calming effect he has on… Continue

It has now been a week since Brewster joined our family and I must say we have been truly blessed. He is such a sweet and affectionate dog. I feel bad for those who lost him, but their loss is my gain. He is like my shadow, following me from room to room, like he is afraid I will leave without him.
