The residents here love Brewster. Everyday he does my rounds in the morning with me, going nursing station to station and collecting my daily info. The residents all reach for him. It is sweet to see him stop at a wheelchair and sit so they can pet his cute little head. One lady, because of her dementia, calls out. She yells help me and when I take Brewster to the hall where she is and he sits next to her, she smiles and he sits while she pets him. It is amazing the calming effect he has on them. Some remember pets they once had and others just think his face is so cute and they have to pet him. Some come to my office just to visit him and get there little bit of "Brewster Lovin". He is truely special.

Wonderful! I think Pandora would love to be a therapy dog, but we haven't started. He sounds like a great little dog!

He is a therapy dog. Actually, I have had to leave him home twice, and he pouts all day long. In the morning he is my shadow, following closely to make sure that I don't leave him behind. He has such a great personality and the residents here love him.

Is Brewster a therapy dog? It is so wonderful that you can bring him with you. Animals do have a wonderful effect on people!
