Penelope got her last set of puppy vaccinations yesterday! Yay! She is cleared for all that fun stuff now. But, she isn't eating very much now. I think it can be attributed to the vaccinations. She also got her rabies vax. That made a difference from her previous vaccinations because she was much more lethargic, and still is a little. She just threw up again b/c she was playing around chasing a bug, but is refusing to eat right now. It was the empty stomach kind. The vet also made her spay… Continue

Penelope has been with us for 4 days now. She is getting used to our house and yard, and I think she is used to us already. She seemed comfortable with us from the moment we met her and doted on her. I was completely exasperated the past couple of days with the chewing. I constantly tried to divert her and she would almost immediately go right back to ripping up the rug or using the couch as her favorite chew toy. I don't care about the rug and the furniture. We pickep up Penelope yesterday and she is great. She is so sweet loves to cuddle and give kisses. She did so well on the ride home which was 6+ hours. She was so ready to play when we got home and boy did she play, and try to bite everything. We have to watch her constantly. But, everything is going well so far. Well, I just spoke to the breeder and it seems that I may have my puppy a little earlier than expected! I was off about a week in my placement estimation. But, the puppy is still going to be about 11 weeks at time I would get it. Also, I got some new pictures from her. It seemed that she was pretty much giving me a choice of who I wanted.
