I swear, in the 4 years we've owned Lola, I've seen maybe 3 Corgis in my town. In the past 2 weeks, I've seen 4! And 3 of them were in the last 2 days!! Not that I'm complaining... who doesn't love a dog that can double as a walking Twinkie???

While walking downtown yesterday, a woman complimented us on how beautiful she was, then asked if she was fixed & if she wasn't, if we'd consider breeding her because she has a male Corgi. We laughed & said sorry, she was fixed. We chatted with her for a little bit about how wonderful Corgi's are & then went on our way. My baby girl is growing up so fast! Today is her 3rd birthday. She got scrambled eggs for breakfast & a nice long walk... I just love my little Lola bear!!! The first picture is the one we saw on a website & decided to get her (yes, I know... My husband had some fun last night... haha

Today is Lola's 2nd birthday (that's 14 years old in dog years!!!)... it feels like we just picked her up from the airport & she was a tiny little pup with floppy ears and a pink & black belly :) She is now the love of my & my husbands life and we can't wait for her to be a big sister in a few months. Happy Birthday Lola Bear!! Mommy & Daddy love you lots!!!!

My husband & I just had to take a tick out of poor little Lola!! The thing was huge!! I'm guessing it was from camping last weekend... Poor baby! The thing was pretty good sized, but we got it out all the way, but I was wondering if there's anything else we need to do besides cleaning the area (plus we gave her a much needed bath afterwards). Should we be calling the vet for meds or something??? She's on Sentinel, but it doesn't cover ticks... any advice would be great.
