Hi Everyone! I just turned double digits, 10 to be exact. And they told me I wouldn't live pass 2...what do they know!! Thank goodness my first Mom didn't give up and found a doctor (vet) that knew what was wrong (Addison's disease). The others guys wanted to send me to doggie heaven!!! Oh my poor little Muffett has a bladder infection now. The Bladder Stones are gone, thank goodness. She has been on 3 different antibiotics for the bladder infection and nothing worked. Today they had to extract urine with a needle directly from her bladder. The Vet will send it to a lab so they can find the perfect drug to cure it... prayers are welcomed! Thanks

My little Muffett has bladder stones. She has no symptoms, they were discovered when she way x-rayed after eating something she shouldn't have- a plastic thing. Anyway, she is on a diet from "prescription" called s/d. It looks like aspic, tasteless and oderless. She does eat it, she is a Corgi. I also have her on an antibiotic.

Does anyone have any suggestions how to keep your Corgi calm during a thunder storm. Since Muffet has Addison's disease (she shouldn't get stressed), I get more worried than she does!!! I tried the Kong with peanut butter...a loud TV...rubbing her ears and whispering to her to calm her down...and finally just letting her run the house and bark...I don't think she is afraid.
