Petie is back on his regular senior food, and eating with normal corgi enthusiasm. He is eager for walks, and playing with Elliott. He will be 14years old in two days. Go dog, go! Thank you, Saint Joe Vets- angels all!

After getting a shot today for nausea, he still wouldn't eat the lamb and rice canned food the vet sent with us. He snubbed cookies, but in the afternoon ate some Ice cubes. Finaly at dinner I cooked him some lean meat and rice, and he ate! Not with his usual zeal, but he has kept it down. We took a slow meandering walk tonight, and his spirits seem to be improving some. Petie is very sick. He has not touched food without vomiting in 2 days. Because of his age ( 13 ) I am worried sick. He has been very stressed for 5 day because of his storm phobia. I took him to the vet yesterday. He wouldn't even drink water. He had x-rays, which were OK. He got anti-anxiety medication ( it's still storming ), and some lamb and rice canned food. They are celebrating the holiday under the bed. Blaugh! It wouldn't be so bad if it were one night, but around here they won't run out of fireworks for weeks!

Got new life jackets for the boys this season. They came from Petsmart and are by Outward Hound. The medium fits my 28lb corgi and my 31lb corgi. They have a neoprene band with velcro that goes under the chest and abdomen, and nice safety release snaps. they allow freedom for swimming.
