After getting a shot today for nausea, he still wouldn't eat the lamb and rice canned food the vet sent with us. He snubbed cookies, but in the afternoon ate some Ice cubes. Finaly at dinner I cooked him some lean meat and rice, and he ate! Not with his usual zeal, but he has kept it down. We took a slow meandering walk tonight, and his spirits seem to be improving some. Thanks for your support. Only my fellow Corgi lovers can know how much my old dog means to me, how many tears his warm fur has absorbed, and how much joy he has brought me. He is such a good boy! The fact of his ageing strikes fear in my heart.

Oh I so hope he's OK. We have not faced anything like this yet, but I know our time will come.

So glad he's doing better! I know how you feel about the ageing thing; I have a 16-year-old cat who means the world to me. I have had her most of my adult life and she is my comfort and joy. I have actually awakened her once or twice when I came home and she was not moving and I feared the worst. I breathe a sigh of relief when she gives me the cranky "Why did you wake me up?" meow. I can't bear to think about what will come.

May you have several more happy years with your sweet boy.

Sending warm wishes and plenty of arooooooo's for Buddy. Having many oldsters recently I know the helpless feeling when they are ailing. May the corgi fairies share their magic.
