Our first summer with Tegan has been great! She has been kayaking in Prescott, AZ and camping on the Mogollon Rim. She is our little bundle of joy and sometimes trouble :)

Tegan loves her football! She will resort to sleeping on it to keep it away from Beauregard!

So we went to Petsmart this afternoon to get some cat food and dog treats, and we took Tegan with us. They were having adoptions today and I overheard some of the people working it talking about my Tegan and saying she was definitely a Sheltie/ Corgi mix! I just stood their thinking to myself " How could you think my baby is anything other than a Corgi? She is the epitome of a Corgi!" This also happened to my male, Beauregard, when he was a puppy. When we first brought Tegan home we took her out into the back yard to let her walk around and this was the first time she was introduced to Mortoise the Tortoise. Mortoise was asleep in the middle of the yard when Tegan went up to him and started smelling him. She had the fright of her life when the big "rock" she was smelling started moving! Mortoise took it in stride and started walking towards her to investigate. Ever since she has been very suspicious of Mortoise :)…
