My corgi-x, Henry has occasionally alerted me to the fact that my blood sugar was dropping. I’m an uncontrolled diabetic, and I thought this was the most wonderful trait! Yesterday, Henry lost his number one position when it comes to diabetics.

I was in a local nursery this morning and over heard a woman asking about cocoa garden mulch. I had to ask her if she was a dog owner because of the dangers of the product to dogs. Henry and the rest of the pack are walked in the woods each morning early (6 am) during the summer. When I bought Henry (first dog) at my age <50+>, I believed the person that told me he was a Dachshund. Over the months Henry morphed into the cute mutt you can see today. I believe he's part corgi, and he looks it at times; with that large chest, long body, stubby legs and ears that are mostly erect.
