He said yes...to the second dog!

I'm so thrilled, my hubby finally agreed to go ahead with getting a second corgi! I know he has his reservations, but I'm glad he conceded. Honestly, I tried not to push too hard :) I have a breeder picked out and hope to see the puppies next weekend. Yipee!! Wanting something for over a year is hard for a person like me. Hehe! So the excitement begins, and I'm so happy! Who's got a name nomination?!?!

Don't get two boys. Mine fight if given the chance so they are always separated. Saturday I gave it another try getting them to be friends and I got bite pretty hard. I was lucky it wasn't worse. Mitchell is the biter. Morgan just wants to play with his brother. :(

Yay for the 2nd pup!! We just got a new pup too and it's been a blast (ok, so there's some lack of sleep and some accidents but it's all worth it). Steve and Scott are Uncle-nephew and love to play with each other. Enjoy your new pup and congrats on the new addition!!

Congrats! For a name, try to pick something that fits with, but doesn't sound like Junebug. Not sure what name would sound like that. Trunks's breeder didn't like the first name we had picked (Pippin) because she thought the dogs would get confused. I took that to heart and tried it. Sure enough, Pan came running. She also though Cody (another name we tried) was cookie.

Thanks guys! lol, my husband jokes that I "emotionally blackmailed" him into the second dog. Ha ha .....ha. :) Well, I like the name suggestions. Hubby's was Billbug, which actually is a kind of insect (we're entomologists). I think I'm going to go with Jed because it's short and a little country :) OK, one more for the road.....YIPPEEEEE!!

Oh, and I had to work on my hubby for about three years before he said yes, and now he is so crazy for Sidney! He likes to tease me by asking me "why didn't you let us get a corgi sooner?" Ha ha ha (insert eye roll here)

Congratulations! That is so exciting. Junebug is so adorable. You could try for a name that goes with her, like Firefly (if you get a red pem), Ladybug (if you get another female) or Doodlebug for something more cutsey.

Since you work with ornamental plants you could go for something like Banzai.
I hope you'll post when you get him/her and what the name is!

Hey, thats exciting news-kinda like lay-a-way! Do you want to tie the new pups name in with your first Corgis name? That is a little bit what my creative side tends to do.Have fun with the name choosing!
