On Saturday, May 24, 2008, I will be picking up my new foster-furrball. Pictures will be up by Monday.

CJ is a 13 month old female r/w pembroke current on all shots and has been spayed. She will have an Avid microchip implanted while in foster care.

There are no behavioral issues reported with CJ. The owners have purchased a condo which has no back yard and feel it is unfair to her to keep her in the house while they are at work. She is reported as being housetrained, however she has not had any formal obedience training.

If you are in the Southern California area and would like to meet CJ, I will gladly round up the pack and meet with you at a local, fenced in dog park. Adoption applications are available at pwccsc.org. As with all adoptions, there will be a standard fee.

As you can see by the pictures, CJ and Koda are getting along fabulously. They're of a comparable age and energy level. My older 2 aren't quite sure about her and tend to steer clear when she's in serious frap-mode.
She's very intelligent, loves playing in the water (dog pool, bathtub, mud puddle, whatever), playing "soccer", and scattering every item in the toy basket equally over upstairs and downstairs floors. She's learning that if she brings a toy back to you and let's you have it, then she gets to chase it again.
She's finally calming down a bit. I think she understands now that it's okay to go to sleep, the other puppies will still be there in the morning to play more.
I'm hoping we can find her a permanent home soon. She's so darn cute!
