Ditto Cindi, Record heat. It's been 106 degrees one day in May, and averaging 102-104 for the last two to three weeks. The weatherman said we usually average 10-12 days total per year over 100 degrees. We've already broken that and it's not even officially Summer yet.

I'll gladly trade weather with anyone under 90 degrees at this point. Until then, you'll find Charlie and me...sittin' in the A/C.

We'll take six of those bandanas. In Mobile (AL) it's been 90-95* with a heat index of over 100*! It didn't use to be that hot. Thank you global warming! Some of y'all with cool weather, feel free to send it this way.

I think the cooling bandana needs to be re-soaked every few hours-at least that's what I usually do. I love the carrots inside ice-cubes idea-I'm going to have to try that! It is a lovely day here today as a cool front moved in last night. Gus had a nice walk this morning and is much happier!

Ditto with Carrie. Washington is beautiful but I'm DONE with June-uary. Enough with the rain and SNOW in the mountains. Tired of wet paws and reluctance to go potty in the rain. Trade me some of that heat and sunshine PLEASE.

Oh yeah, David Letterman was talking about the heat! It's actually cold here in San Diego (we call it June Gloom) but it will heat up soon enough. Hang in there, little buddy!

On hot days, I freeze baby carrots inside ice cubes. Sidney loves those.

Btw, I got the cooling bandana but I'm kind of confused. Is it supposed to stay full of water for days/weeks?
