Hilarious.. to me.. not to Matt.. and only half Owen

So we went on a great walk today because someone had a rediculous amount of energy. I find he really likes to bark alot between 6-7pm. Amazing sense of timing he has. So we went for our walk and ran - I love that Owen walks normal and then when he breaks into a run that his hind legs move together (like a bunny).

It rained today so Owen took it upon himself to jump into a couple of puddles because that's tons of fun. So Owen needed a bath. We really had to work together on this one because now he tries to jump out by gaining speed in the tub OR using the curve and making an approach (And my mom thought we should use the kitchen sink.. hahaha). We got him clean, damp dry and put him in his kennel to get dry. Well he started moaning and whining - as in I have to pee!!! So my husband brought him outside to his potty spot and then underestimated Owen's speed and energy level. And Owen went straight for the Japanese maple and tried to dig around hit. Awesome. Matt was pretty pissed and brought him back in. So Owen got another bath (sans shampoo- just a good rinse).

He also covered our bath tub in mud. I love that little guy. So funny.

I feel like he gets more energetic every day (and fast/curious). I'm so glad we are doing kennel training.. I don't think I would have any house left!

Don't you just love the 'bunny legs' run? I always look forward to Bailey doing that.
We bathed them in the laundry sink. Just the right size for them to stand/sit comfortably without the risk of any escapee. Bailey loves a warm bath and massage so much he always falls asleep during the bath.
Has he started to chew everything yet?

Hehe that's funny, my Owen also runs with his hind legs moving together too! It's so funny. To prevent him from jumping out of the tub, I've had to close the sliding doors and go in with him :P Thankfully we have one of those flexible showerheads that's more like a hose, so I don't get drenched :) Hehe, that's funny how your Owen got himself dirty again after the bath. What a troublemaker!
