I Can't Tell

*flails* I can't tell whether Banzai is a red/wht or sable. I have AKC papers that I have yet to fill out, and I can't do it because I am not sure what color he is going to be. The whole litter looked to be red/wht. That is what I have down so far. But Banzai is still so dark and the black in him looks to be spreading, and staying. Some red is coming in along his withers, but he has that skull cap. His ears are not black tipped or outlined, but he has a lot of black around his hind quarters. I saw a picture of his "twin" and she has much more red in her now.

Is Banzai just a late bloomer? Should I keep the coloring to red/wht, and change it later if Banzai doesn't turn more red? Or is that even possible?

I'll love him no matter what he is, but the paperwork is a pain in the patella. CKC paperwork is SO much easier then AKC.

Comment by Bonny on August 10, 2008 at 3:49pm: I kindof have the same dilemma with Junebug...she has r/w on her papers, but I'm pretty darn sure she's a sable. I don't know. Like you say, it doesn't matter but would be nice to be sure!
