It has been overcast or raining nearly every day since last week. In North Texas, that's unheard of in August! It's been in the 70's and 80's. It is fantastic weather for riding even if it a little wet but awful if your corgis are La Diva and Il Divo! No one will step off of the concrete onto the wet grass! Molly will hold it and hold it until I finally give in and take her for a walk. Going in the back yard- heck no!. Getting soaking wet and walking around the block- absolutely. And then, I have to towel them off before they go shaking and tracking mud all over the carpet. I AM SO NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO WINTER!

Tigger wants nothing to do with his kennel. He just doesn't want to be in there anymore. And the bribe to get him in has to be really good- just 1 cookie won't do it anymore. (which reminds me, I need to go to Petsmart to replentish the stash!) Who can blame him, he's been in there for the last 5 weeks! I keep telling him, just 3 weeks more! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. He is handling this last HW treatment much better, but then again- I made sure that his pain level didn't get to where it was last time. He's been having psychadelic trips of bones, cookies and squeekie toys I'm sure.

This morning as I was getting mauled in bed by the corgis, waiting for the drizzle to let up I was thinking about how it came to be that I now have 2 dogs! Just last April I was dogless. Molly came 1st and after a while (spaying and some chill time) I started thinking how much she (okay me) would like another dog. Before I knew it, I was searching petfinder.com. I had my heart set out on another blackheaded tri. I somehow ended up with a ginormous red and white! I love it- A complete set! When I started talking to the corgi rescuers- they all seemed to understand why I wanted another corgi...one lady said, "Yes, they are like potato chips. You can't just have one!" I agree!
