George was neutered on Thursday and everything went great. We waited until George was six months old because we were waiting for his other testicle to descend. He acts like nothing happened and we are having a hard time keeping him quiet. Our vet told us to not let him be too active for awhile, but George thinks differently. We also had him microchipped.

The guys have it a bit easier than the dames, eh :) Riley was the same, in fact when he came home he practically jumped out of the back of the Visiting Vet's SUV and ran straight for me like he hadn't seen me for months. I tell you what though, after that I've never seen his little nub disappear so far before. Poor guy.

Grover had the same experience as George, he acted like nothing happened afterward. He was a little lethargic the night of, but after that, he was trying to jump off the couch like nut job.
He did have his incision come open, but they used the glue on the outside, so I think it just didn't hold that well. Honestly, I think the hair growing back irritated him more than anything. I think it itched.
Yay for George for being such a trooper!

I'm glad all went well for George! Both my boys were just neutered few weeks ago. Turtle acted like nothing happened - he was active afterwards, no swelling/complications and didn't even have to wear a cone! Steve on the other hand had severe swelling, took anti-biotics & pain meds (poor guy!) and wore a cone for almost 2weeks (good thing he liked wearing it).
