That when your precious corgi does something wrong.. you blame your spouse/significant other...

like this morning.. I was awakened by my husband going "are you kidding?" I grumble.. "did he poop?" "No" "did he pee" "no"

At this I sit up in bed a little bit grumbling about waking up before 8 on my only day completely off. Matt comes in and says, "Owen chewed on your brown flats." I knew I had left them on the floor but not in an area Owen has free reign. And up until now shoes haven't been that interesting to him.. I also thought Owen had chewed my cheapy brown target flats that I was about to throw out.. no just like his mommy expensive things are better. He chewed the steve madden wedges because dad hadn't penned him while he was in the shower. Clearly Matt's fault. clearly. Owen is 4 months old.. not to be trusted.. He tried to lap up spilled spoiled coffee mate creamer last night out of the trash... not to be trusted.. All in all I must have slept well because I'm feeling reasonable and the shoes were over 2 years old and the heel on them wasn't that good.. perhaps this is a sign.

Owen Damage Report:
1 Brown Steve Madden Wedge
1 Charter Club Sheet Set
multiple shoe laces

Owen Attempted Damage Report:
All of mommy's flip flops
Carpet and rugs corners
Mature Japanese Maple outside

So there we have it..... In other news Owen crashed a Scotty Club picnic on Saturday. He stole the show because in public he is a little gem and as always a little gentleman :). He did get a noseful from a bunch of scotty's. Nobody (meaning owner's) would let them really play.. back to big dogs..

Oh it gets better once kids get involved and leave their "stuff" (school bag with sugarless gum with Xylitol), laying around and it happens to be toxic!!!! It is even worse when the kids are capable of keeping their stuff picked up but just dont after being told how many times! Darn kids, poor doggie, definately not their fault! : )

It was Matt's fault. :) It seems to me that sometimes guys lose track of puppies and time. At least, it seems true of my husband. Most of the things destroyed in our home has happened when he is "on-duty."

They do keep us on our toes with their puppy shenanigans. Our Emmie has been trying the same trick suddenly, though I like to pretend she picked my husbands old slippers because she knows I'm the trainer in the house. He's a softie though and can't get to upset with our 4 legged family members. Connie

I can never get mad at Lola no matter what she does!! She is my baby haha. Plus it was definitely Matt's fault =)

This happens to us too! Bindi just chewed threw my Husbands work boots and i said "whose fault is that?" he insisted it was hers, but i told him he should have put his shoes away! (its so hard to get mad @ her when shes smiling at you!!"

My husband's favorite is "look at what YOUR puppy/cat did!"
