So today we had a very fun time! Grandma and Grandpa moved back from Germany into their old house and mom brought me over to play with cousin Apex and go to the lake!

Grandma thought I was adorable and gave me a bag of handmade peanut butter doggy cookies from a special German pet store! mmmmmmm! She was a nice old lady and couldn't get enough of my tricks...

Then mom and grandma put Apex in her muzzle walker and me in my harness and we hopped into moms car to drive to the big forest lake park across the big highway! Apex was being bad though trying to get into the front seat with us and grandma seemed angry with her the whole ride :(.

When we got there I got to run around without a leash while apex walked on the path all the way down to the docks. Then mom strapped on this big orange thing around me and PICKED ME UP! Woman PICKED ME UP with a handle or something like I was a little rat dog! But then she dropped me into the water at the end of the dock and instead of my bum sinking I could actually float and control where I was going!

After I got out, I ran back up to her and jumped in myself! Apex got jealous and chased after me into the water and it was all over from there. We just ran around and leaped into the water and ran around and leaped into the water and ran around and leaped into the water!

After about an hour or so mom and grandma hooked us back up and made us go back down the path :(. We were having such a good time and one time I almost made it to the middle of the lake but mom called me back. I was going to go off on my own adventure! See what the other side looked like!

When we finally got home we played in the back yard for another hour while mom and grandma talked about human things then we had to say goodbye and go home..

Im really tired now and its been a long long day but I wanted to say that orange thing made a huge difference and Im a good swimmer now!
