Well we learned one thing.. don't let your dog loose when you have people over:

Damage report from tonight-
1 - Journal
2 - Rubber ring around dog bowl/dog bowl. Most of pieces were found except one *TINY* piece.. probably in towel or someone's belly. Talked to neighbors about potential issue, showed the bowl and they said Owen is likely okay. Seriously small piece but ring is toast in many pieces (put it back together to see what was missing).
3 - my sanity after that
4 - someone's bluetooth head set (jawbone).. Not really sure how Owen got it.. I think it was left on the floor... awesome.. i feel like it is partially our fault.. but I'm kinda pissed at the same time because it could have been worse if he swallowed it or something..

I'm trying to love my corgi right now.. I'm pretty sure the damage report was over $200 tonight

Hahaha! Puppies are just like toddlers....I am not getting all the attention, so lets see what I can get into! Well, even though it will be negative attention when my Mom and Dad find out, its still attention! It's just a stage....just like kids! But you are right, you can't stay mad because of that adorable face. aaaawww!

I am laughing about Basil having a taste for Longaberger baskets.....that has always been a concern of mine since I have too many to count in my house! Our cat never bothered with them except to occasionally sleep in an open one on the floor. I can just see Spencer trying to chew one of my All American baskets...oooooo that would not be good!

Bless his heart. He's just doing what they do best.....find something to have fun with while we're not paying attention! We've been through cell phones, remote controls, books, you name it. Thankfully, we've gotten away without injury. But we've learned to put stuff out of reach. Didn't take long for us to learn, either. Hugs to Owen.

Awww. Hard to stay mad at that face, with those ears and that little Corgi smile!

The next day I feel a bit better.. we actually let him in the bed last night because we felt bad about not spending enough time with him. He is so cute in the bed. All spralled out - taking up 1.5 person's spots.

Keep loving him...this stage doesn't last for ever. Basil (my first corgi) had a taste for Longeberger baskets...he always seemed to pick the "special edition" ones. His way of saying he felt he deserved much more attention than he was getting. Never mind he was the central focus most of the time. Good luck to you. Frustrating, but most likely a temporary issue. Love the profile pix!
