Ginny is a very popular girl and has made lots of friends lately. Her new friends are some neighbor girls, probably around 9 or 10 years old named Kayla and Michaela. She met them at the park and now they hang out all the time. It’s really cute. The girls come over to the house to pickup their new “friend,” Miss Ginny, and they take her to the park. Luckily, I can watch them from my house as the park is just across the street. Ginny has learned to run up the steps at the playground and then she goes down the slide. She thinks it is a blast because everybody tells her how GOOD she is for going down the slide. Then she runs and finds the nearest patch of snow to eat and roll around in. It makes me happy how much she LOVES children. I know some dogs can be snippy around kids, but Ginny sees a kid and just makes a bee-line straight for them, with her happy little butt wiggling all the way there. I think she must like that they’re closer to her height. She doesn’t jump up on adults, but she always jumps up on kids. Not rambunctiously, but she puts her little paws on their chest and gives them kisses on the face. It seems like most of the kids we’ve met really like her, too.
Another good thing is that Ginny is staying with her Grandpa during the day now (my dad). He can come across as really stern, but he really loves animals and he spoils her. I have given him strict instructions NOT to give her any people food like he gives his own dog lest I unleash my wrath upon him. Ginny loves his golden retriever, Josie. Josie is so sweet and plays really nice with Ginny. She just lets Ginny bite her ears and neck and never gets too upset with the puppy. My mother’s dog, on the other hand, spent most of the day growling at Ginny, so it was no fun for her to be there.
I can't believe how long I've had her now. She's grown so much, but she's still so gosh darn cute!
