Well they came and they left... Roxi's first visit to the grand ol' Washington DC.. She seemed to enjoy it and I'm happy since we'll be here for a little while :).

The first couple minutes they were here, she met her first other corgi besides her siblings when we first got her.. A little ball of fluff the neighbors picked up since they lost their other corgi and its sibling is about to pass away as well.. So it was interesting to watch them interact.. the puppy going nuts at the end of its leash while the old one trash talked as corgis do sometimes hahah :) While Roxi just soaked it in,, trying to play with the young and sniff at the old at the same time.. oye...

It was nice to have her leap into my arms when they arrived.. (literally from his lap right at me from the car ahhaha was scared I wouldn't catch her) its amazing how they remember as well as we do.

Meeting her 'cousin' was interesting. Apex (husky pup) was taken too early from her family so she doesn't really have manners... so they were great outside but once inside they got a little fussy.. Roxi had a good temper and we built a sort of safety system with the baby gate that Apex is fearful of.. they would play but once Roxi got sick she quickly learned that we left enough space for her to run into the other room through the gate to get a few moments of quiet time.

It was funny to see a different side of her as well. They would play... Apex would do something mean.. you would go to tell her No! and Roxi would sneak steal one of her toys and bolt upstairs lol. She did these little things.. every now and then.

Was a little more relaxed on rules as well :) let her snuggle with me while watching movies in bed.. and she fussed at the other half when he tried to move her! I guess she remembers when she was smaller and i watched tv with her as well. ahh..

annnndd besides playing with the pups all week we took her to her first pets mart shopping spree (sweetly paid by the roomy who owned the husky) and got our member card and such... got her new goodies and some toys :) We were fine with her riding in the cart until the moment where she lept out and this was right when we got back to the stinkin' car >_< no warning either... so it was decided no shopping cart again.. phew.. her jumping abilities are amazing sometimes... Im so happy a taught her that jumping from stairs is BAD.

oye well.. that was pretty much it.. just a fun little visit that introduced her to family and friends and the area she'll be living in soon :)
they're visiting again in April and then perm. moving in June.. *happy dance* Finally get my little family back! expect more videos and pictures then as we do all the fun stuff we couldn't because of this whole ordeal! (first doggy park day.. first lake toss *muahah* etc.. etc..) Im so excited!

EDIT!
And Oh my GOODNESS she's going into her teen phase...
oh yes yes she is.. sometimes those rules and boundries my perfect little puppy followed and cared about went right out that window! *shakes finger*

and apparently last week she chewed up daddies cell phone charger...

we may have some teen angst on our hands ladies and germs.. TEEN ANGST! Gah! *throws up hands*
