Hi..Sidney here again!
Today was such an exciting day! My people got up extra-early for a day when they don't go to work. Usually they like to stay in bed and get grumpy when I wake them up to play! Anyway, we got up early today and took me and the two old dogs to a BIG park! And there were SO MANY people and dogs there! There was so much to sniff that I was going crazy...I was in heaven! My people met up with one of their friends, who have two adorable and very well behaved beagles, and we started our big long walk.
Here I am at the beginning of the walk:
Don't I look happy and anxious to start?
This is me and one of the old dogs, Bruce. He's half Corgi and half Mystery:
See how he's got that funny tail that curls so tight?
Well, the walk was great! I was so busy exploring that I forgot to feel tired, even though it was three whole miles! Along the way I saw something...can you believe this..there are these things called ducks! They smell funny and they, get this, can FLY! I think they would make great playmates, but we had no time to stop and see them up close. Someday I hope I'll meet one up close. Wow, ducks! Imagine.
And after the walk there was such a great party. There were tables all over where people were giving away all sorts of yummy things, for people and for dogs too! I got offered lots of cookies, but Mom brought most of them home for me to have a couple at a time. Someone gave me a bandana to wear, but I'm so short I kept stepping on it! Mom ended up tying it to her waist instead.
We sat down to listen to some humans talk a lot. We were close to a big group of huge dogs called "Great Danes". WHOA. I can walk all the way under those big guys...talk about making me feel shorter than I already do! They were friendly but had a hard time seeing short little me.
Soon it was time to go home. As soon as I got into the car I felt so tired! It was such a busy fun day.
Here's a picture of me and old man Bruce on the car ride home. Mom says we were both snoring.
Bye!
