I want to thank Faery Tales Rescue out of St. Louis for agreeing to accept Duke. Jess from Faery Tales is working out the final details with the shelter so that Duke can go to Faery Tales Corgi Rescue. I am absolutely delighted that they are helping rescue this corgi puppy from the shelter. We are working out the final details now. Please donate to Faery Tales Rescue. They are awesome!!

Thank you! I can't stand the thought of this sweet baby being put to sleep. Someone left him at the front gate of the shelter. His name is Duke and he is absolutely beautiful.

I failed to give the shelter's telephone number. It is (309) 494- 8911. I live in a small town close to Peoria that only allows three pets and I have two corgis and a cat so I cannot adopt him. He really needs a home. I have contacted two corgi rescue groups, but as of this posting, I have not heard from them. If anyone knows of a rescue group in the Peoria area I will pay his $85.00 adoption fee and can provide transportation. His adoption fee includes neutering, all shots and micro chipping.
