Lucy is 6 months old today! I can't believe the time has flown by so quickly from when I got her at 10 weeks. Her color is still changing and she is growing so fast. I can't wait to see how she grows in the next 6 months!!

Happy HalfBarkday Lucy!

I was so worried about all the things that could go wrong when Lucy was spayed. My biggest problem ended up being her energy--the day after she wanted to jump and run--and I couldn't walk her for 2 weeks!! That was the toughest part, fortunately. I hope all goes well for your Lucy.

Hi Laura! Yay for Lucys! Yours is adorable! We've actually met more Lucys than I ever thought we would, I didn't realize it was such a popular name. I should have gotten mine a doggy cake, since her 6 mo birthday present is to get spayed tomorrow :(. I'm ready for it to get done, though I'm sure I'm going to be a wreck tomorrow worrying about her while she's at the vet.

Happy Birthday! When my Lucy was 6 months, I got her a cake from a dog bakery and she "shared" it with a couple of pals of hers. Lots of fun. She will be 1 year in a couple of months--can't wait to celebratre. It has been so much fun seeing her grow. I'm beginning to see more of the wonderful adult dog she is becoming.

Cody will be 6 months on March 1st!  He had his pre-op bloodwork today for his neutering next week :(  He weighs 28 pounds!!!  His daddy was a big boy too.  Love my Corgi!  Lucy is such a sweet one...will you be our friend?

She's definitely learned that one! Any suggestions what to do about it? I'm fine with bribery haha

Listen to John on this one.  ;)  Ellie is 9 months old and she has decided that she does not need to listen to me if she's too far away for me to catch quickly.

Keep working on the training.  Now is the time.

You can expect some changes with adolescent rebellion in a few months.  She'll learn that you cannot, in fact, catch her.
