I am so, so happy that my husband and I got Lady. She is so perfect for Ace that it's almost like her arrival into this world was divine intervention. Ace has become more responsive, quicker on the uptake, playful, and he'll even approach strangers now once Lady engages them with her adorable fluffy cuteness. She is helping him to become a better dog and she's only eight weeks old.
I marvel at Lady's fearlessness in the face of everything and anything. I am following a week-long program of intense socialization and she has yet to prove uncomfortable in any situation. Whether it's an infant in a stroller or a man in a helmet on his bicycle, Lady is not scared. In fact, she stops in her tracks to try and get to them to give a kiss or three. Some times strangers even oblige her, at which point she is overjoyed and wiggles her entire body on the ground.
At home, the two gnome-dogs have a blast. They play, they play, and then they play some more. No toy is safe from either of them - Ace and Lady LOVE tugging the same toy, and the springy Kong toy I got is perfect for this. Then again, they'll tug anything! My favourite is when Ace snatches a tennis ball away from Lady and she comes at him with her teeth bared. Then they'll lock mouths around the tennis ball and valiantly struggle and tug. Ace wins (for now), but Lady gives a very good fight.

Love the video of Ace in with the puppies. Puppies, puppies everywhere. "Mom, Mom--help, help--get me out of here!"
Haha, she is starting to take charge of the wrestling matches, definitely! I think that Lady has grown in the 72 hours she's been with us, not kidding! She was roughly Ace's height at the withers when we first arrived at her breeder's place. And now she's not only taller, but I had to adjust her harness too! :-D
Such cute videos. It looks like already Lady is in charge of things! lol. Ace better take advantage while he is still bigger! :-)
They look soooo cute together! & it looks like Ace is having a blast with the new family member!
