Our Odie used to escape from Lucky by going into his crate. We used to joke that he was even going to close the door to REALLY be alone. He loved his crate. Our current 2 are rescues, and try as we might, they hate crates - their little legs flew out to keep them from going in the crate, they howled and barked, it was not a pretty site. We decided it was not meant to be with them.
That is the best pic! Cinny goes into her crate still to this date, and she hasnt been confined for months. She finds it comforting when she is stressed, or just wants a break from Nutty. It was the BEST advice I NEVER thought I'd take. I trained them both the same way, and I have the two best house trained babies!
