Terms of Endearment? Love and Affection? or has she subtly figured out how to deal with hanging with a corgi. After spending the last few years watching the bond grow between my dogs (a corgi and a non corgi) I am thinking more the latter. My non Corgi, Lexus, knows that mortals are attracted to the funny looking little beast that she lives with, Austin. They want to pet him, photograph him, and feed him first, although he is an anti-social, grumpy little man. She knows , however, that she is taller, her legs are longer, she has a sweeter personality and her tail sweeps side to side in a show of happiness and friendliness.
So, with a well placed head, a strategically placed foot, and a tail that wags in the face, she can put herself in the forefront without looking forceful or dominate.
Just look at the innocence in these pictures.
Notice where her paw is. I don't think that was an accident that Austin can't move.
Makes for cute photos, but I know better.

Riding on someone's coattails is quite a trick when they have neither coat nor tail...
Very cute photos! My corgi, Izzy, always has to crowd into our doberman, Misty, if she thinks Misty is getting attention instead of her. She is not subtle at all!
Lexus is definitely tired of playing second dog! Both are just too cute.
I think Lexus is definitely saying "I am top dog around here!"
