Ack I feel like a Horrible parent XD Im fretting over tomorrow... and have a Strict line of things needing done today... #1 Wash Ace's night night Kennel out and his bedding (knows food and junk are hidden in the blankets XD) #2 Wash Ace... (dont want him stinking while at the vet not to mention he really needs one XD) #3 no food after 8 ._.; which is gonna kill me and Ace sicne he always gets a night night treat and a night night bowl of Kibble (meaning whatever was left of his food during the day goes in the kennel with him and he finishes it there, hence why #1 needs done XD)

Im fretting bad since well yes our Female dog buffy is fixed but she got fixed before we ever got her... and the girl cats... yes i felt bad but they were mostly linke to mom... Which leaves Fatty my boy cat and i fretted over him x.x;; but not like i am with Ace... Scrappy isnt Fixed at all but he is my brothers dog and mom gave up telling him what to do YEARS ago -wish she would do that with me XD-

but ya... Im fretting since well Fatty is like 4 or 5 now so i dont really remember much except him trying to jump on the couch and his legs not being there from the drugs and him landing on his new booboo ... yes... cats eyes can cross and water and they do pucker their lips.... he gave that expression my brother gave when i accidently kicked him where it counted all those years ago... i felt bad... and im worried for Ace because he likes to run run run run run and jump and crash into things... im scared he will get hurt worse then he already is... So i think for the first week when letting him out to go potty (so he doesnt FLY off the porch like he loves to do) I will Leash him up... ugh... Im Just so worried... lol i feel pathetic XD

I got Orion neutered at exactly 4 months (Laika is getting spayed this week) and he bounced back quickly! So no worries about Ace :) I watch neuters get done all the time (including Orion and his cousin's!) and we keep them until the next day before their owners can pick up and the young ones usually are doing very well by the next morning. I got pain meds with Orion (tramadol) but he wasn't in much pain, I mainly used it to kind of keep him a little sleepy so he wasn't bouncing off the walls :) Just make sure he doesn't pick at his incision site and he'll be right as rain in a few days!

Rufus was 4 months old, and I caved and did it that early because he had company coming throughout the next month. I was amazed at how well he did. He had a little tiny incision which he couldn't even reach. My vet said to see if he tried to lick his incision and not to use the cone unless he did. Since he couldn't curl far enough to get to it, we got to avoid the cone altogether. He was a little sleepy the first day, but after that I kept forgetting he'd had the surgery.

Our little guy is 4 mo old on the 20th. The vet said we can get him done then... we may wait another mo. He sure won't like wearing the head gear!

Don't worry! When Edison got neutered, the vet assured me that corgis tend to bounce back quickly. Sure enough, Edison didn't even seem to notice that he was missing his junk. The only thing that seems to put a damper on his mood was the head cone he had to wear for a week afterwards. Ace will be fine! :)
