THE CONE OF SHAME!

"I do not like the Cone of Shame" Dug from the movie UP XD

That was the first words out of my mouth when i saw Ace Yesterday after his surgery! Poor little guy! he was all seepy and 'drunk' i feel bad watching him walk and get the cone stuck on things.... like the door frame/screen door/ etc he has gotten better...

Have problems with him in his kennel with it but... for a week i have to keep him in it... he is a Licker unfortionatly!

But I set him down inside when we got home and Scrappy (brothers Pitty) decided he felt sorry for his play buddy and proceeded to give him kisses... and for the Eldest dog of th house she musta really felt sorry for him cuz she even gave him licks and kisses (usually ignores that he exists XD) it was so cute Scrappy wanted to play and ace was just Uuuuuugh XD he did alot of sleeping yesterday... today he has been a bouncy boy and has figured out how to Drink/Eat/Walk/Run with his cone on without snagging it on stuff XD

My poor Baby~ give him a week and he will be bright as rain XD

To make ourselves feel better about the cone, it got decorated in corgi stickers, Bear's dinner dish was hand held to make his feeding easier and I used a homeopathic remedy "Rescue Remedy" in Bear's water just to inject a little serenity into the event. Approximately three weeks later, the cone was removed and Bear 's ear was able to heal quite well. Yes, the thumping into walls, furniture and my shin were all par for the course. All our best, Nancy
