At this moment,
I hear bdrum, bdrum, bdrum, pause, bdrum, bdrum, bdrum, pause, bomp, bomp, bomp, bomp, pause, click, click, click.
The sound of two corgis frapping around the upstairs, then racing each other down the steps.
The pauses are when they stop to switch who' s following who.
The click is Goldy air snapping at Bear.
I love these dogs.

My princess will try to engage her brother in a game of chase by taking a toy in her mouth and poking her brother with it. Sometimes he just turns his head but sometimes he knows now is the time to give chase, and off they go! Round the furniture, under the table into the living room out the doggy door and into the backyard where they chase each other at full speed. And yes they take turns being the chaser and being the chasee. They are a joy to watch. You can't help but laugh at them. They are my most precious babies!
