bit of a scare here at my house. I'm usually very cautious about removing the dogs' collars when we're home, but I forgot to take Goldy's collar off last night after getting home from my brother's derby party. Bear and Goldy were wrestling and Bear's mouth got caught on Goldy's collar and he evidently twisted - both were very scared, including me. I managed to unclick the collar and separate them. Scary.
Yes this happened to us not to long ago also it was scary the pups were panicking trying to get apart it took both of us holding them down to get the collar undone. They go naked now also in the house.
I have switched to a harness, its easier on her and no choking hazard, its soft and she even comes to get it put back on after bath time...lol its funny she puts her head right through it with no coaxing.
Glad things worked out ok. Thank you for yet another reminder about not keeping collars on dogs in the house. Someone else here had this happen very recently too.
