I'm surprised they had a smoke alarm but not one in the garage since many fires originate in garages. Fortunately they had a Mini Alarm!

@John, The owners did say they had smoke alarm installed, I don't think they were in the garage tho :( fortunately Mini was faster than the smoke reaches far enough to set them off :)

Aww, I found a listing in our local phone book for the corgi heroine's family and I called to set up a play date. But, uh oh...the # was disconnected. I tried.

@Sam, @Steve, Thanks guys! There was no play button Sam, but Steve's link worked perfectly. I loved the story and the corgi. She looked just like my long ago corgi, Annie. And best of all, this beautiful corgi heroine is just the next town over from me. Corgi playdate!
