A pal has raced the Iditarod. We visited once, and he hitched his team up to the car to haul it around for the amusement of the children; that's how he works out the huskies in summertime. My daughter, then about 5 y.o., came right home and hitched all her stuffed animals up to her makeshift sled. We weren't quite sure about Lefty the octopus; with 8 legs, does she count as 1 dog or 2? I'd post it if I had a digital copy.
I've occasionally wished my dogs had longer legs... but caught myself just in time. Be careful what you wish for.
