Beach Corgi

Today was our first time we were able to go to the dog beach. iSally wasn't interested in the water at all at first, then tentatively put a paw in to go after a stick. After awhile I was able to get her corgi-leg deep into the water. Then, I decided to go sit at one of the benches with her, she must have been worried that we were going to leave because she did her corgi run and jumped straight into the water. She was a great little swimmer! We didn't stay for too long after that because I was meeting up with my fiance later on, but I can't wait to take her back!

Comment by Judith Andre on April 4, 2010 at 12:59am: I'm jealous. Murray LOVES the water, but will probably never get to go swimming in the ocean as we live too far away (Nebraska). However, he did get to go swimming in a farm pond today, ran circles around his new friend Buck the Dachshund, then rolled in a huge rotten Catfish before I could stop him. He came home a tired, happy, stinky dog. For a dog who loves the water, he sure is not fond of baths.

We are going tomorrow, and bringing Cinnamon for her first real ocean experience. I have some videos on my page. Water Corgi's are the bomb! Superstar is also a fan!
