The past 2 weeks and one day was incredibly long...but it passed. It's hard, but it's for their own good. Gentle walks and his FAVORITE things to chew on helped...

We are all watching the news with horror and hoping it does not turn out so bad! For Sally try giving her a cereal type box to destroy. Messy but fun and not too active. (don't let her eat too much)

Yeah, I had to resort to giving her treats tonight as well! She desperately wants to go on one of her hour long running sprees! Fortunately she hasn't resorted to barking yet. The oil is a really big concern, if it really hits here it's going to be worse for the area than a hurricane would have been.

I feel your pain! Tegan just got spayed on Thursday, and she is being a terror right now. She doesn't whine because I won't play with her -- she barks LOUDLY and is trying to grab and destroy every piece of paper she can find. Good luck with keeping Sally quiet! I've resorted to feeding treats and rolling a little ball about 2 feet...

And I know what you mean about the oil spill. Having lived around the Gulf, I can't believe what's happening down there. Hopefully it will be cleaned up soon before much hits the shore.
