What kind of collar does your corgi have?

It may sound silly, but I've been looking for the perfect collar -- soft, sturdy, and of course a very flattering color :).  Right now we've got green going on (I think it looks pretty against the…Continue

Tegan is getting spayed tomorrow.  She's 6 months now, and my vet likes to do the surgery before the first heat cycle. I've read the comments about the neutering, but I wanted to get some…Continue

Tegan is a beautiful little girl whom I was able to get from a local breeder. She was born in October 2009. Herding instinct test was so much fun!

Posted on October 16, 2010 at 6:41pm 6 Comments

We made our way to the herding instinct test early, early this morning. The test was sponsored by the local PWC club, so the most amazing part for me was seeing 40 corgis together! Everybody had a great time cheering on everyone else's dogs, and the dogs had a great time meeting each other and hanging out. Everyone was so friendly and supportive, and all of the dogs were really well behaved. And Tegan passed! The judge said she was easily distracted, but thought that might be because she is… Continue

Met a corgi at the baths...

Posted on September 4, 2010 at 12:03am 2 Comments

So we're giving Tegan a bath at PetSmart when in comes another corgi. So cute! He was a large adult Pem male, and Tegan is still a slightly puppy looking 10 month old Pem female. People kept commenting on how much "those dogs look alike!" Finally somebody said, "Are those the same kind of dog? I thought yours was a wiener dog cross." Hilarious!

Tegan ate a fig...

Posted on July 15, 2010 at 12:36am 6 Comments

Tegan ate a fig that fell off our tree. I checked online and got contradictory information. Some sites said they were potentially dangerous and at the least would cause diarrhea & stomach pain. Other sites said they shouldn't be a problem as long as she didn't eat too many. Right now she looks like absolutely nothing is wrong, but should I be concerned?

Happy Birthday to Teagan, sounds like you have a fun birthday planned. We will be with our corgi friends tommorrow, so excited, always a fun time. :) Not exactly sure what we will be doing for Lances bday. October is a very busy bday month for us. We have yet to meet any cardis friends for Lance, maybe one day!! Will be playing with 3 pems tomm though. :)

Have a blast celebrating your bday, I bet you will. :)

Thanks Carol...I never get tired of watching them nurse. The older they get the more creative they get! My Bella is nursing right now and it sounds like a cow barn with the milk machines going...it's really quite funny!
