Because dogs are better right Ms. H?
As some of you may know, I teach 7th graders. Overall the kids like me and I like them. They love to see pictures and videos of Bear and Goldy and often if I'm out for a day, when I return they rarely ask about my health - but instead the dogs' health - making sure I haven't missed because one of my furbabies are sick.
During a punctuation lesson earlier this week on Monday we were reviewing Miss, Ms. and Mrs.
One of my students asked, "Ms. H are you married?"
"No, I'm not," I replied.
Then one of my boys, a squirrelly little thing that you can't help but love asked, "Is that because dogs are better?"
I laughed and said, "Yeah, because dogs are better."
He quipped, "That's what my mom says too."
