Oh man, since we have gotten this puppy he has not been boring!! I wouldn't mind if he ate or got into things that weren't harmful to him, but I guess he is a daredevil haha. He has eaten the trash, chocolate girl scout cookies, a whole box of cheese bread from Domino's (including the box), 3 slices of pepperoni pizza, a whole box of dieting tea (which is supposed to cleanse your body, so needless to say I was cleaning up that for a few days), a bottle of ranch dressing, and today he ripped apart a bag of coffee grounds all over my bed, and I was only gone for about 5 minutes. Since all of those things happened we have been crating him every time we left, but today I figured he didn't need to be in there since we were not going to be gone long. But boy was I wrong! He is a little sweet heart when he's tired, so we play with him in the backyard for an hour, walk to the beach and back, and then play in the basement with all the toys.

He is finally over the giardia, and putting weight back on. I love this little monster haha =)

yeah, you might just have to REALLY start dog-proofing everything before he gets into something he can't recover from...phone chargers! Yikes! This makes me really grateful for my pup who is a saint by comparison. =)

Thanks for all the replies! I reallllllly hope he grows out of this! Benji has also eaten both of my phone chargers Sara lol. Susan, Benji knows exactly what he did wrong when I get home, he runs to the bed and burries himself in the blankets to hide haha, pretending he is all innocent. Jenni, we have tons of chew toys, ropes, rubber tires, bully sticks, and he still loves getting into everything possible. He will be crated from now on until we can trust him again =)

Too funny! I have two opposites, also - Bertie is as calm as can be, and Ethel is the devil. One day I left the car for about 2 minutes to run in the post office and forgot I had a chocolate brownie on the front seat. When I got back to the car, both Ethel and Bertie were curled up in the back seat, right where they'd been when I'd left -- but the bag of brownie? It looked like a shark had swum up and bitten through it -- brownie, wax paper, napkin and bottom of bag were GONE. And Ethel never even burped! She's also eaten deer/goose poop galore, bark, dirt, sticks -- and (a story for another day) 3,000 mg of the anti-inflammatory drug Rimadyl. And no ill effects from any of it! I think her motto, like Benji's, must be to enjoy the smorgasbord of life to the fullest! And what would we do without our little devils?? ;-) (Meanwhile, Bertie, the quiet calm fellow, has had giardia, stomach viruses, and some kind of gastritis that gave him mild pancreatitis -- go figure!)
