the depression has faded a bit, although my stresses lie in other areas that I will not go into here.

Maui is growing so much! First vet visit she was at 5lbs, and a few weeks later she is at 8lbs, before I know it, she will be at 11-12lbs! Takes up over half her crate now. Finding out she likes tennis balls so I will need to get her some. Learning some of the basics like sit, and down, and I guess instead of "Come" we will use the Danish word which sounds like "come sa", so says my bf.

She will be staying with her breeder over Memorial Day weekend while we go out of town. The hotel we are at doesn't allow animals, so we can't take her with. Poo! But most any other trips we take, she will go with us no doubt..

Funny thing happened at Petco the other day. We decided, lets do some social skills again and soak up the attention, cause it feels good, I admit it. We start at Petsmart and make our rounds there for about 30 min. Then we head over to petco and make our rounds there. Well by this time, Maui is pooped out (not literally though), and we both had been thinking about investing in a bed for her. The beds at Petsmart she wasnt interested in, but we thought here at petco we will try again. We picked up the first bed we saw and placed it down, she jumped in, scratched at it, rubbed her snoot in it and flopped over belly up, and passed out. we laughed and awww'd and snapped a few cell phone pics, then tried to get her out of it. Wouldn't budge! we even tried walking away around the corner. Didn't care. Well we looked at each other and we were like "we can't spend $90 on a pet bed", but of course we fell for it. My bf gave in and we couldn't get her out of it. So what did we do.... we picked up the bed with her in it, and carried it all the way to the front! She even perked her head up to see what was going on while doing this, then went back to snoozing happily. The clerk was in awe and snapped a pic herself. paid for the bed and we took it home. She will grow into the bed as its a good 42" across and its made of faux bomber leather and micro suede with some special polyfill. The cats even sleep on it with her. She knows its her bed too. :) So not only that..... she knows how to make a statement!

Spoiled? OH heck yea!
