Well...I thought I'd get a corgi this year...but another year goes by, I still have no place and am getting no corgi from my boyfriend this year. This birthday so far really sucks, I can't even see my boyfriend for my birthday. I got a nice necklace as a birthday/anniversary present....Its lovely but I still find myself depressed....22 on Tuesday, all alone.....time to look at corgi pictures.

Don't be sad! I wanted to get a corgi when I was 15, but I waited until I was 30 so that I would be financially stable and have a good permanent home. You have lots of time! No need to hurry! You don't want to get one before you are ready, or you may not be able to do everything for it that you want to. Happy Birthday - here are a couple of my favorite Frosty videos to give you a chuckle... http://www.mycorgi.com/video/attack-of-the-feet and http://www.mycorgi.com/video/frostys-yodelling-toy-howl-1

Happy Birthday, Cassondra.  One of these days you'll have your corgi.....it'll be worth the wait!

Happy Birthday! When the time is right you will get your Corgi and love him/her even more for having to wait:)

Happy Birthday! Hopefully the necklace won't shed and won't need a walk at 6am. Enjoy the small stuff right now, the rest will come soon enough.

Corgis are not huge dogs though.  They are actually sort of medium sized but their stumpy little legs make them look smaller.  If you look inside their little Corgi minds though, you'll find that they think they are huge.  ;-)   Anyway, I am sure your patience will be rewarded.

i'm normally pretty patiant, but i have been waiting about 4 years or so now...and being a huge dog person and not being allowed to have a dog is painful

Well, happy b-day, Casandra.  22 years old?  I own clothes older than you and still wear them!  Sorry you don't have a Corgi yet but they are worth waiting for.  When the time is just right one will appear when you least expect it (Corgi magic) and you will never be the same.  But get a Corgi too soon and you can upset the entire balance of Yin Yang, matter / anti-matter, and the economy of the entire nation of Wales.  The Welsh are nice people so don't do that to them.  So patience is in order.  The good news is that by hanging around here, reading about Corgis, studying the pictures, and absorbing the collected Corgi Wisdom of the Ages, when you do get a Corgi you'll be just as surprised and confused as the rest of us but better prepared.
