Was about to leave work yesterday and one of the residents at work come via my desk and told me there were some brush fires out our way and had got out of control and were we anywhere near the area!. I rushed for the train and on the way home the mood in the train was rather panic as people on the train were calling families hoping they were safe I called Paul he said he could see the smoke of the fires in the distance as the train got closer to Richmond where I park the car I could see the smoke of the brush fires. I called and told Paul I was okay and the train was about to stop in Richmond the smoke smell was bad and thank goodness they have them under control Paul and I both know which one of us is home and we are under threat we just have the car and the dogs in the car and get the hell out of there!. You can replace a house but human and animal lives you cannot!. I think we are in for a long hot summer which means bush fires!!!!!
