Today my boyfriend and I agreed that Eddy's changed so much in the past few days.. Like, he's suddenly into physically bonding, cuddling, leaning, etc. His coordination during playtime is amazing. Also, his leash skills are improving, in that he tugs less and follows more. (Does anyone have any leash tips? He's 10 wks old.) But he does this hilarious move where he runs 5 steps and rolls over, runs, rolls over, over and over. Dirty but cute.

And I have to adjust his collar to a bigger size pretty much every day. How exciting!

My neighbors are getting a puppy now in 2 weeks because they're so jealous. But they're getting a silky terrier, laaaame.

My Merlin was a very stubborn pup in that he would not come when called. Walking on leash was not to bad, he pulled some but then I just stopped and he had to stop and we didn't go farther till he came back to where I was. My daughter, an animal Dr, suggest a very long rope-abt 25 ft. We would go out: back yard-front yard- park and we would start walking and I would let him walk and walk and then call him. If he ignored me I would pull on the rope till I got his attention. We did this everyday for almost two weeks before he started coming back to me without my tuggin on the rope. He walks on leash beautifully now, comes, sits, stay can be iffy and we play wonderful games. I don't walk him on leash as often as I should as we have a completely privacy fenced yard but I will have to get in the practice again this month as we will start camping come June. I call him My Merlin as I pickeed him out and I was the one who wanted another dog [I lost my Dalmation a year and a half before getting Merlin] but he has adopted my husband. When Phil is home I am chopped liver but I have him all day long and he travels with me when I go to visit my daughters in Texas for a week at a time. Our grandkids would be very upset if I didn't bring him along. Enjoy the puppy stage.
